At Large Pageant
Summer Shine At Large Pageant
I’m very excited to offer At Large Summer Shine pageant for those not in Illinois, Indiana or Wisconsin. Summer Shine Pageant is a fundraiser for Shriners Hospitals for Children and I’m excited to be able to expand the opportunity. A National Program book will also be produced.
The following categories will also be available for Summer Shine At Large Pageant:

Supreme Dazzling Queen
Entries now being accepted until June 1, 2012
How do you enter?
Entries will consist of a photo and application
How much does it cost?
Entry fee is $100
What can I win?
If you are selected as Queen, you will win a tiara, sash, trophy and nice gift.
What if I’m not selected as Queen?
There will be runner-ups 1st – 4th place and you will receive a trophy & nice gift. In addition, all contestants will receive a small gift bag.
Am I competing against all the states?
No, you will be in your own state competition.
What are the age requirements?
The age divisions will follow the same as the Summer Shine pageant. Your age as of July 1 will determine your division.
Little Miss Summer Shine (5-6)
Young Miss Summer Shine (7-9)
Pre-teen Summer Shine (10-12)
Junior Teen Summer Shine (13-15)
Teen Summer Shine (16-18)
Miss Summer Shine (19-24)
Ladies Summer Shine (25-34)
Ms. Summer Shine (35-49)
Classic Miss Summer Shine (50+)
What is the Essay Optional and what is the entry fee?
Write up to a 1 standard page (8 1/2 x 11) essay on a topic of your choosing. This will be due by June 15 so that the winning essay will be able to be published in the National program book. See FAQ on the Summer Shine pageant website for topic ideas. The entry fee is $25.00Do I have travel to a National pageant?
No, at this time we do not have a live National pageant.
What is the Supreme Dazzling Queen?
Advertising & Good Luck Pages
The contestant that sells the most Ad/Good Luck pages over two full pages will be crowned:
Supreme Dazzling Queen
Your local businesses can advertise in the program book. You can also have friends/family write you good luck ads.
All proceeds from our pageant go to Shriners Hospitals for Children. Everyone who sells an ad will get a ribbon.
The ad prices are:
Business Card $25.00
Quarter page $30.00
Half Page $50.00
Full Page $100.00
